It’s been more than a month since the release of the
classic version of WOW. At that time, many of its most
stubborn players reached level 60 and cleared two
endgames to attack Molten Core and Onyxia. Since the
release of WOW official, WOW official has said that
Classic's new dungeon, team copy and PVP features will be
released in six major phases, but so far, it has not been
shown when these updates will be released. To get more

"I think it's a matter of later this year, I think we can
say definitively," Hazzikostas said. "Within that
timeframe? It's going to depend on a few factors."
One of the biggest obstacles to the second phase of the
launch was "layering," a new system that helped the WOW
classics run through the storm of players who rushed to
the server on the first day with classic WOW gold.
Through stratification, a given server can divide players
into different copies of the same world, thereby
dispersing the population, so that everyone is not in the
same area, so that many players with normal numbers can
be processed.
"Without layering, we simply would not have been able to
accommodate anywhere close to the number of players we
have on our servers," Hazzikostas explained. "And with
some of the natural attrition that we've seen, we
would've had a number of servers right now that are
underpopulated. Instead we had servers that were, due to
layering, effectively massively overpopulated even with
login queues, during the first couple of weeks, that have
now stabilized at large, healthy populations that can
endure for the months and years to come."
But layering will never be long-term. Hazzikostas
explained that one of the new features in Phase 2 is the
world bosses like Kazzak and Azuregos. The boss's point
of view is that there can only be one version at a time.
Layering makes it easier to turn these enemies into
spoils.
"When Kazzak is up, we only want one Kazzak," Hazzikostas
said. "That's kind of a central dynamic of how that needs
to play out in the outdoor world."
The good news is that the process of decommissioning
stratification is currently only "within a few weeks,"
Hazzikostas said. Earlier today, community manager Kaivax
posted on the classic forum that most populated servers
had dropped to only two layers, while 13 were permanently
locked on one floor. The benefit of this is that since
everyone is spread across all levels, it usually feels
like a ghost town at startup, and now feels like a
bustling social center.
Once each server is downgraded to the second level, the
second phase will be closer to booting. This is good news
for everyone: the second phase adds a powerful new world
boss to fight for it, except for the Dire Maul dungeon
(no doubt, it will cause bloody in the most stupid debate
in Classic) New chapter). However, even if the player has
not reached the highest level, there will still be an
expectation for the new honor system, which rewards (or
punishes) the enemy players.
